  • Check the status of your tax returns and Notices of Assessment (NOA).

  • View and manage your unused RRSP contributions and other carryforward amounts.

  • Update your direct deposit details and personal information.

  • Access your Home Buyers’ Plan (HBP) and LifeLong Learning Plan (LLP) details.

  • Download information slips and much more.

Why You Need to Set Up Your Own Account

It's important to understand that CRA My Account is exclusive to each individual. For security reasons, you must set up your own account, and unfortunately, we cannot assist you with this process. This ensures that your personal information remains confidential and secure. Additionally, if you encounter any issues or get locked out of your account, you will need to contact CRA directly for assistance.

How to Register for CRA My Account

There are two ways to register for CRA My Account:

  1. Sign-in Partner: Use your existing login information from your financial institution.

    • Go to CRA My Account, click “Continue to Sign-in Partner.”

    • Log in with your bank details.

    • Enter requested info and complete registration.

    • Receive a CRA security code by mail within 10 days to complete setup.

  2. CRA User ID and Password: Create a new user ID and password directly on the CRA website.

    • Go to CRA My Account, click “CRA register.”

    • Enter required details and create your CRA user ID and password.

    • Receive a CRA security code by mail within 10 days to complete setup.

Regardless of the method you choose, you'll need information from your current or previous tax return to complete the registration.
